A Rotary Club, and notably our Rotary Club, is always looking for new and interesting ways to help. When we find someone doing something good in the world, learning the story may lead us to ideas of our own and new projects and new ways we can make the world a better place.

Club Member Daniele Della Gala found someone doing something good.

Marc Clark is an author–and as he explains it an “author with a cause”–who wrote a children’s book by collecting fables he told to his young daughter. He has a background in entertainment, with a lot of producing and writing credits, but now also travels the country sharing his love of writing, and his stories, with elementary school students (including Daniele’s).

Learn more about Marc from his website. While you’re there, poke around and see more of the site.

During his most recent visit to Southern California, Marc was kind enough to sit down with us and share the fables, the school visits, and the cause of helping kids with cancer.

Here is Marc with his friend Brooke; we’re grateful for his sharing the photo and his fond memories of her.
