Rotary Fellowship of the Week for 29 August 2011

Rotary Fellowships are autonomous, international groups of Rotarians, Rotarian spouses, and Rotaractors who join together to share a common interest in worthwhile recreational activities (sports, hobbies, etc.); further their vocational development through acquaintance with others of the same profession; make new friends around the world; explore new opportunities for service; and have fun and enhance their Rotary experience.

What is the name of your Fellowship?

Rotarians’ International Fellowship of Authors and Writers (RIFAW)

Who is the current Chair?

I’m the Chair – the very first.

What is the Chair’s Rotary Club?

My club is the Rotary Club of Guelph-Trillium! Ontario, Canada! District 7080!

How long has your Fellowship been recognized as official by RI?

Since January 2011.

What are the dues to join?

$100 US for a lifetime membership.

What is your mission?

Our objectives:
· To develop and promote worldwide friendship for Rotarians with a common interest in writing
· To foster friendship and fun among Rotarians from all over the world
· To spread and promote writing to service the community and humanity
· To promote international understanding and peace in the world
