26 September 2011 — Matching Grants

After you view/hear/read the program and this week’s features, please join the Discussion Group and post your comments by clicking on “Add a reply.” (This is also how our E-Club verifies attendance for Club Members and visiting Rotarians making up a meeting with us.)

The opportunity to apply for and obtain matching grants from The Rotary Foundation is a key element in any Rotary Club’s ability to serve the community at the local and international level. At least two Rotary Clubs in at least two different countries must work together on a project. Here is an example of the long and beneficial reach of a matching grant, followed by a link to Rotary International’s information about the process. Our E-Club will learn how this works and make great things happen.

Take a look at the Rotary International Information for the ins and outs; our District has some great people with significant expertise to assist us.
