26 November 2012 — Rotary Foundation 101

Instead of a message from our Club’s President, please read this message from the President of Rotary International, Sakuji Tanaka. His words explain our Club’s program this week, as we move into the future and learn how to work with The Rotary Foundation to enhance our local and global reach and service.

The Drive for Twenty-Five, when we Barter for a Charter…is in progress!

This week’s program features the video recording of our Fourth Sunday meeting in The Fireplace Room, as our Club Rotary Foundation Chair, Roy Glickman, presents a program called “Rotary Foundation 101.”  This is the first step in learning how our Foundation works and how we can access its resources to increase our ability to serve locally and worldwide.

  1. Mel, Roy, and Judy:

Roy, your presentation was excellent, because you know teachers make the … students, and I learned much and will reference the excellent footage. I am thrilled that James (15) was able to leave the meeting with the knowledge of the foundation at the level of clarity and understanding you presented. NOW, let’s raise some funds!

  2. Thank you for the wonderful presentation, Roy, Judy, and Mel! It was full of great information and very entertaining :) There is more to learn about the Foundation, I’m sure. Let’s keep filling our jar with the knowledge and hopefully with some funds from the Foundation for our projects too!!
