26 December 2011 — Our Voices: What Will We Do?

Most Rotary Clubs are “dark” and do not meet during the last ten days or two weeks of the calendar year.

But we are an E-Club, and the Internet is always available, one way or another.

“Every single day we make an impact on the world, and we have a choice as to what kind of impact we’re going to make.” Jane Goodall in the March 2009 issue of “The Rotarian” magazine.

For this week’s program, POSTING RIGHT HERE in the comments section at the bottom of this page, please tell the team what YOU want to do, actively, in the coming months as our E-Club becomes very active in service projects and makes a positive impact on the world.

Maybe it is local, right here in the San Fernando Valley, Burbank, and Glendale. Maybe it is international, or local but with international implications.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? Let’s make it happen.

VISITING ROTARIANS: PLEASE TELL US YOUR FAVORITE CLUB PROJECT! Maybe we can do something similar here.

IF YOU SPEAK A LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH, please teach us how to say “Happy New Year” in your native language…and be sure to tell us where you are and the name of your Rotary Club.

See you in 2012.

  1. Yes, please post your comments RIGHT HERE for this week’s program!

  2. From Mel’s friend Elena Gerli, originally from Italy: Buon anno nuovo!

From our friend Rocio Caces, in Chile, who was on a GSE Team 2009 : “FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!!”

From our friend Tim Mason, a Rotarian in England and the provisional President of his eClub, “Appy New Ear in pigeon English.” That counts.

    All from Facebook. More coming!
