THIS WEEK’S PROGRAM

 partner

This week, under extreme time pressure, the Programs Chair seeks help.  But that’s what partnerships are all about.  This week we offer links to the websites of some of the great organizations we’ve had the privilege of working with as partners, and give us a chance to familiarize ourselves with more of what they do.

THERAPEUTIC LIVING CENTERS FOR THE BLIND (and check out their “newsroom” page, where we are featured prominently)

REACH OUT AND READ LOS ANGELES (how could we do more with them and help more kids?)

VALLEY FOOD BANK

HOPE OF THE VALLEY

BE THE MATCH

And here are links to some organizations we have learned about and found interesting, perhaps inspiring ideas for future partnerships:

TORTURE SURVIVORS PROJECT (LEGAL AID FOUNDATION OF LOS ANGELES)

DISCOVERY CUBE LOS ANGELES

THE GREATER CONTRIBUTION

And visit our E-wareness main page and the specific campaigns to inspire yourself to find other ways to help with some of those causes if they strike a chord within you.

The opinions expressed by guest speakers, or in advertisements that appear on external websites linked to this program, are those of the speaker(s) / websites / advertisers and not necessarily of the Rotary E-Club of The Greater San Fernando Valley or its members. 1. Thank you for the opportunity to connect with and learn more about some of the great organizations we’ve been privileged to work with.

  2. Can we hold a book drive for Reach Out and Read? I know I still have many of my kids’ books and most are in great condition.

  3. If you haven’t visited Discovery Cube LA, please do. It’s lots of fun! Working with local partners is one of the perks of the “hybrid” part of our E-club. It really works :)

  4. It is gratifying to see the good work that our partners do and realize that we are a part of it.

  5. It is wonderful to know that our E-club is making the effort to share with the public the positive impact each organization continues to have in a greater community. Our collaborative efforts help reach so many more because of the dedication and hard work of all involved.

  6. Great links! Trying to catch up…
