THIS WEEK’S PROGRAM

For various reasons of timing, as March begins this week we bring you some key information for our February E-wareness campaign focusing on domestic violence prevention.  In this TED Talk, Jackson Katz, an “educator, author, filmmaker and cultural theorist who is a pioneer in the fields of gender violence prevention education and media literacy” argues that domestic violence and sexual abuse are men’s issues, not just women’s issues.  This presentation calls on men to be as proactive in speaking out again domestic violence as women, if not moreso.

Our Club, let by E-wareness Campaign Coordinator JoAnne Catran, hope this serves as a call to action that everyone will follow.
