14 August 2012 — Club Assembly Recap

Instead of typing up a report on our awesome Club Assembly on 13 August, here’s the recap.  Raw video, unedited (except for just two subtitles), errors by the President are his and his alone.

We are honored to be the proud new owners of the BELL AND GAVEL formerly used by the now-retired Rotary District 5260.  We will use it in service and fellowship in honor of the many Rotarians over the many years of Rotary District 5260.

Most important things to remember:

SUNDAY, AUGUST 28: NEXT MEETING, special guest speaker ELMER JORDAN, Past Rotary International Director, and the induction of our new Rotarians!

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15: Third Annual DANCE FOR THE CHILDREN

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29: RC Granada Hills Blood Drive, where we will assist Janet Higgins of Be The Match with bone marrow donation awareness, outreach, and registration.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7: Second quarterly FOOD DRIVE at Gelson’s.

  1. Nicely done. Mel.
    Library donation sounds great

  2. Great meeting at Denny’s and on line :) Looking forward to getting our hands dirty for more projects in the future.

  3. Great to see so many folks at our meeting on Monday night. Some great projects on board for the next few months. I also love our idea of giving children’s books as our speaker gift. I already have Rotary pens in my kit for each speaker to sign the books with.
